I know what you mean. However, Halo 4 was one of my least favorites, mainly because multiplayer has seemed to drift far from the punishing rankings of Halo 3 and primarily Halo 2. Halo ODST was my favorite single player Halo experience so far in all the games. The somber atmosphere, overworld, subdued music really hit a chord with me, but most seem to really dislike it simply because it didn't reinvent the multiplayer nor follow Master Chief's story. Differing opinions...
I actually wanted an Xperia when my contract was up last year, but Sony phones seem to be rarely offered with carriers in the US.
@Septic & FITgamer
WoW addiction stories. I've got one. I had a friend back in the early days of college who got started on WoW. Over the course of a year I progressively saw him less and less as he grew in level and eventually hit the skill cap.
Now he was't the most fit of people, so you would have expected him to balloon to larger sizes. This did happen for a time; however, he hit a turning point where he would forsake meals (which were con...
I have this argument with my friends all the time. Some are of your opinion that multiplayer gives you many hours of play, but I disagree as each match is effectively the same game over and over with slightly different AI (humans). I would say there is far more value in a quality single player games because they are designed to be varied over the course of a playthrough. This is why I tire of most multiplayer games after a couple hours.
Thief is albeit old is still fun nowadays. I just played the original last summer for the first time and had a blast stealthing the entire game.
People who complain that Lego pieces have gotten too specialized need to take a look a Knex. I only see a couple traditional Knex pieces popping out near the feet and knees of that TitanFall model.
Steam Sales... They are the bane of my wallet.
Steam Greenlight came about simply because reviewing every game themselves took too much time. It was a short term solution that has its own issues, but it was never intended to stay forever.
A long string of profanity isn't quite a comprehensible sentence. But then again if we are to believe Aristotle genius comes in hand with a mixture of madness. =P
So.... PS++? Pardon my Newspeak, but it's doubleplusgood.
Lost a "'t" in the last sentence. Getting better latency isn't as simple as upgrading your bandwidth at your ISP. You effectively have to find another route to Sony which either means switching to another ISP or changing routing mechanisms such as going from DSL to something like T1.
Also, looking at from a physics point of view there is a fundamental limit at how fast information can travel. If the server is in New York and the user is in Los Angeles, it...
That would fix a bandwidth issue not latency. Places like Netflix and Amazon implement exactly what you mentioned for variable bandwidths.
The latency issue is difficult to fix. Information has to travel over and through a lot of copper, routers, and fiber before reaching the server at Sony which then has to send back a picture through more wire, routers, and fiber. Bandwidth issues are easier to solve than latency as you can often just get a larger amount from an isp. The...
Oh how I have regretted not funding Oculus during the last few hours of the Kickstarter. The temptation is quite strong to go buy a devkit now that the delivery time is a week, but I have waited already over year now for the consumer version. I just need to hold out for hopefully at most one more year. I just need keep telling myself that I am not a developer and that if I have waited this long I can wait a little more.
It's coming sometime this year. Remember that Palmer Luckey said that should be months not years away. Come next E3 some developers will have had devkits for over year at that point. Oculus just a had to wait for content to be created and let the tech mature through a year's worth of Q&A with developers.
My guess is that we will hear a release date sometime in the summer/fall placing the release in the winter timeframe of 2014. If it does extend into 2015 I wou...
Castlevania Lords of Shadow was one of my favorite games of the generation. The music (Belmont's Theme still gives me tingles) was sublime. I am trilled that Oscar Araujo will be back to do the score for the final installment in the saga.
They come fairly often, but sell out the day they come in. I managed to get a PS4 when I stopped by a Wal-mart for something else. Went to the electronics section and asked the worker over there if he had any PS4s. A grin went over his face as he announced that he two in stock. I immediately said I would take one and then a random guy popped his head out around the aisle said he would take the other. They go fast.
Well that's a big box. Never thought Japan would package something in box that large when compared to the US. Although the box might be almost conformal to Vita.
I am wondering the same thing. The capitalization has left the bit vs. byte question open. If it is bits then many people will be able to enjoy this, but if it is bytes it almost requires you to have cable or better internet connection.
Nah nahhhh nah nah nah nah nah...

So many good memories with this game. I remember playing this game with my dad back when I was in Kindergarten. Got stuck for days simply because the Fast Travel mechanic in the original game would skip over an important switch in a tunnel in one of the later areas.
